Work with data
Hcell 2014 consists of virtually all of the features in the desktop version to help users stay familiar with the application and to provide great productivity on a mobile device.
In this chapter, learn how to input, organize, calculate or edit the data in spreadsheet easily by using various features provided by Hcell 2014.

Input data
Do the following to input data into a cell:
- Double tap a cell to input data.
- Type in the data you want.
- Tap the Enter key on the keyboard.
You can input text, numbers, formulas and so on into a cell.
Edit, delete, or clear data
Delete Hancom Office 365
Do one of the following to edit, delete, or clear data:
- To edit data, select a cell and then edit the data by using virtual keyboard.
- To delete data, select a cell and then tap Edit > Clear.
- To clear certain item in a cell, select the cell and tap Edit > Delete, then choose one of the listed menu.
Copy, cut, and paste data
Do the following to copy, cut, or paste data:
- Select a cell.
- To copy the data, tap Edit > Copy.
- To cut the data, tap Edit > Cut.
- Select a cell to paste the data.
- Tap Edit > Paste to paste the data into the cell.
Fill data
You can fill a range of cells with the data of a cell or range of cells.
- Tap to select the cells containing the starting data.
- Drag the fill handle over the range you want to fill.
- Tap Edit > Fill.
- Select one of the listed menu to fill.

Sort data
- Drag to select a range of cells to sort.
- Tap Data > Sort.
- Adjust the Sort Order, Sort by and Sort Option options from the Sort dialog box, and then tap Run.
Use AutoFilter function

- Select a cell to apply AutoFilter.
- Tap Data > Filter > AutoFilter and a Filter buttong will be displayed in each field name.
- Tap from the where AutoFilter is applied.
- From the filter list, unselect some items and tap OK to remove the selection.
- Only the selected data will be displayed on screen.
- To display all data on screen, tap Data > Filter > Show All, or tap the filter button for the field, and then select > Release Filter.
- To clear the AutoFilter option, tap Data > Filter > AutoFilter.
- The selected symbol in front of AutoFilter will not be displayed, and the AutoFilter option will be cleared.
Specify a numeric format
You can set characters, numbers, and formulas to be displayed in various formats.
- Select cells you want to dispaly in EURO currency.
- Tap Format > Format Cells.
- Select Currency from the drop-down list under the Number Format tab in the Cell Format task pane.
- Tap the Euro foramt (EU) from the drop-down list of the Symbol item.
Unit conversion
You can convert standard weights and measures with ease.
- Select a cell that contains data you want to convert.
- Tap Insert > Unit Conversion.
- Select the conversion unit from the Unit Conversion dialog box, and then tap OK.
Protect data from changes
- Select a cell to protect.
- Tap Format > Format Cells.
- Tap Lock under the tab in the Cell Format task pane.
Note that you must protect a sheet first to lock a cell. To protect worksheet from changes, tap File > Protect > Protect Sheet.
Create a hyperlink
- Tap a place where you want to create a hyperlink
- Tap Insert > Hyperlink.
- Type a work or phrase to display and web address to connect to, and then tap Insert in the Hyperlink dialog box.

If you tap the hyperlinked cell, the designated web page is opened in a browser.
Copy format
- Select a cell to copy format.
- Tap Edit > Format Painter.
- Select another cell to apply the copied format.
- Tap Edit > Paste Style.
